Fat L @Bonnie123 Dec 17 The show is ok as far as the plot although it gets a little repetitive. But there is NOTHING New York about this show. Not the accents, not the house styles, not the look or the land. And couldnt they find any actors that actually speak Patoi? Lol the Jamaican accents are terrible. And I ain't never seen a single Jamaican, not a one, scared because he had a gun aimed at him. And when Paris was speeding on the Jackie Robinson hahahaha first cant nobody go faster than 40 on the Jackie Robinson without dying, its all tight curves. And real NYers call it the interborough. Good show but very Hollywood and California trying to be New York. Even the houses look nothing like New York. Not a single thing. But if you can pretend its in CA you can enjoy it as NYer. Its not until they throw around that they're in NY that I gey annoyed. See more Anna V Sep 1 The acting is horrible! These people lack acting experience. It just seems very low budget. One of the worse series I have watched in years. See more Danay H 11/28/2024 Took me a while to actually get into it because the acting was a bit campy at first, but it has grown on me and now I can’t stop watching all of the seasons, currently on season 3 See more M D @AthenasDaughter 11/19/2023 The writing is atrocious. I mean, really really terrible. The actors are laughably bad, with the exception of Ernie Hudson and Armand Assange. Lots of horribly stereotypical and deepy unlikeable characters. It's so bad it's almost good. See more 10/23/2019 I'm Torn With This Show ??? I Absolutely Love The Prim-is Of This Series ... And I'm A Huge Fan Of Multiple Characters , With That Being Said . It Has Some Of The Most Unrealistic Scenes I've Ever Watched ... And Considering The Caliber Of Actors/ Actresses Involved , The Most Disturbing Part Is The Acting ... Some Of The Worst Acting I've Ever Watched ... This Show Hits Perfect On So Many Levels ... And Then Characters Like Paris , Vinny , Sasha , And Other's Just Absolutely Destroy (And Not In A Good Way ) Almost Every Scene They Are In ... Two Female Assassins Who While Their Home And Family Are Under Attack Suddenly Have Time To Change Into Scantly Clad Outfits Before They Are Able To Load Up Guns And Go Help ??? Somehow They Wind Up Outside , And Out Of Nowhere Walks In Possibly The Worst Actress Of All With Her Goons ??? Mind You ... This Is With 3x The Normal Security ??? And This Whole Popping Up Out Of Nowhere Happens Entirely To Often In Multiple Scenes In Almost Every Episode. The Most Concerning Thing To Me Is How Every Character Killed Off So Far Is Actually The Very Actors Who Actually Came Off Believable And Had Solid Performances . It's Easy To Pick This Show Apart ... And Clearly They Are Leaning On The Sex Sells Idea Here ... But It's That Thinking That Is Going To Be The Death Of This Show . If They Want To Save This Series The Writers Need To Take A Long Hard Look At What They Are Doing . I Truly Think This Show Has The Potential To Be Great. But It Will Require Writing On A Much More Focused And Believable Level . See more 02/18/2019 Love the story line the acting is sometimes bad See more Read all reviews
