Mar 31, 2018Esta serie no gana el campeonato mundial de las series de TV, pero se defiende decentemente en primera división. El formato toma inspiración de éxitos de comedia de la tele norteamericana (como "The Office" o "Parks and Recreation," pero sin realmente proporcionar algo propio. En ocasiones es difícil saber si estamos viendo drama, comedia o dramedia claramente definidas. Tiene los retos comunes de la tele mexicano como actuaciones desconcentradas o faltas de tablas, que contrastan con dos que tres primeros actores destacando Carlos Bardem en el papel de Eliseo Canales (que se agradece cada vez que aparece en pantalla para balancear). Pero es rescatable en general y tiene puntadas muy buenas. El detalle de "Hugo Sánchez" puede que sea uno de los mejores rolling gags de la tele mexicana. Podría mejorar si le quitáramos la vulgaridad. Los productores nos "deleitan" con escenas fuertes de sexo gratuito dignas de película de ficheras de la época oscura del cine nacional, descalificando de familiar lo que podría haber sido buen entretenimiento familiar. No es una obra maestra, pero en general es un avance a favor de la producción televisiva mexicana. Ojalá fuera más moderada para poder verla en familia... o completa.

Jun 02, 2016Club de Cuervos es una excelente producción, con un guión joven y diferente a otras producciones mexicanas. Centrado en los dramas familiares de la familia fundadora de la entidad futbolística de Nuevo Toledo, se logra exhibir la contienda entre el pensamiento occidental y el tradicionalismo en el fútbol. La serie inicia tras la muerte de Salvador Iglesias, Presidente Fundador del Club de Cuervos de Nuevo Toledo. Para mantener el espíritu de los hinchas se nombra a Chava Iglesias Jr. (Luis Gerardo Méndez) como sucesor, salteando a Isabel (Mariana Treviño), la mayor de los hermanos Iglesias, y más instruida sobre la forma de trabajo del club. El gran punto a favor de la serie son los conflictos que nacen tras la nueva gestión de Los Cuervos, no solo familiares, sino los propios del fútbol. Utilizando de elementos a los jugadores, la prensa, la hinchada, el vínculo con el gobierno, se satirizan escenarios reales del deporte mezclado con humor adulto. El drama/comedia exclusiva de Netflix es muy recomendable, tiene una historia que te invita a reproducir en serie los capítulos, un elenco que logra transmitir en cada episodio el tenso vínculo familiar y una fotografía que logra representar la cultura un pueblo chico.
