Culinary Class Wars Season 2 arrives when we need it the most, as we slip into the winter months, where our inner, feral energy tries to convince us that an open bag of chips scrounged from the back of the cabinet is an acceptable snack. Go to Full Review

The producers of Culinary Class Wars realized that the level of competition is more important to viewers than bringing in quirky chefs that may get lucky, and that shows in Season 2. Go to Full Review

D3Z 1 Feb 24 The second season continues to raise its tension and stakes built from its first season which is still enough to satisfy anyone's palette. See more terme S. @Terme. Jan 7 فوق العاده عالی بود، بی نظیر بود، هر لحظه اش رو با عشق و لذت تماشا کردم ممنونم ازتون برای این برنامه ی عالی. See more Lynn J @Hellybells Jan 7 Culinary Class Wars Season 2 clearly also has a big production budget, but it often works against the show. The massive sets feel excessive and sometimes pointless, more like spectacle than something that adds meaning to the competition. Instead of confidence, it comes across as insecurity - trying too hard to appear grand. The editing is another issue. Dramatic reaction shots are expected in Korean variety shows, but this season overdoes it. The repeated reaction edits hurt the pacing, and the constant use of complex game mechanics feels manipulative rather than clever. Most disappointing is how hard Season 2 tries to distance itself from Season 1. The competition becomes unnecessarily complex and harder to follow. Ironically, the new cast alone is strong enough to carry the season. A few small twists would have been enough, but instead the show tries too hard to stay fresh and loses some of its charm. Overall, even though I still enjoy the show, it’s giving trying way too hard. See more Gladys G @Gwkskeks Jan 6 Episode 10 and 11 was so devastating… felt that the battle from teams to compete with each other filtered out really good chefs who could have changed the battle / winner at the end. So sad to see Son Jon Won lost for such a tiny detail.. He is Korea’s only chef that has 2 Michelin stars so like how is his food determined by other chefs who are lower than him… doesn’t make sense See more Steven A @moistvonlipwig Jan 5 Every episode just goes on and on and on, some are literally movie length and it feels like nothing happens despite the constant attempts at manufactured drama, nigh unwatchable. See more Ricca S @Ricca Jan 2 I never thought a cooking show would be this dramatic, competitive, and impressive. I have watched cooking competitions in the past and nothing comes close to the sophistication of the show’s format, contestants, judges, and the overall flow and feel. It is a MUST SEE!
