Eventually he becomes the most famous artist of all time -- a mythic figure in history -- but the path that forged Leonardo da Vinci's gift of superhuman genius is fraught with conflict as he searches for the truth and seeks to expose those who suppress it. He yearns for knowledge and his true calling, but the 25-year-old da Vinci is haunted by the absence of his mother and the disdain of his father; and as the ultimate free thinker in Renaissance Florence, he struggles to live within the confines of his own reality and time. A visionary -- both ostracized and celebrated for his ideas -- da Vinci begins not only to see the future, but to invent it.

The show returns for a second season that ups the ante on swashbuckling and arcane mythology, while continuing to cleverly use the famed artist/inventor's innovations as a blueprint. Go to Full Review

Season two of Da Vinci's Demons is going to be an action focused tour through history with the volume amped up to deafening levels. This is going to be one hell of an action packed, if not historically accurate (because Dracula and bazooka), ride. Go to Full Review

This felt like a learning season, like they were scraping against their budget and wanted to see how big and wild they could take it. I get the feeling they learned their lessons, and figured out more of the story they want to tell. Go to Full Review

The performances are spectacular, the action scenes are more violent, the cinematography is beautiful and the script is good !!! With this I advise you to see, once you are looking for historical series !!! See more 08/14/2020 Good season. It truly shows how Da Vinci's mind works. Coming to the conclusion why the series is called the "da Vinci demons". I just feel sorry for not following the historical truth. I advise viewing. See more 07/28/2016 75% The cliffhanger in the finale is good and despite not being boring, the series fails to become interesting beyond a certain point. Its got too much of playfullness and predictability in it. The production design is as good as always. See more 01/21/2016 Who knew how worldly Da Vinci would become in the 2nd season and what possibilities he would encounter. A good step up from season 1 and Paul Rhys is brilliant in his role as Vlad and wouldn't Blake Ritson make a fantastic Moriaty See more 01/16/2015 This Season was again really good - can't wait for the Third Season this year.
