Ex-spouses Mike Devitt and Christina Towne, who play private eyes in the fictional TV series "Diamonds," decide to try their hands at being real detectives now that their TV show has been canceled. Setting up an agency called Two of Diamonds, Mike and Christina tackle cases with the help of Darryl, the special effects expert from the TV show, and Mike's cop cousin, Lt. Lou Gianetti.
