In each hourlong episode, Brooklyn District Attorney's Office lead prosecutor Anna-Sigga Nicolazzi and award-winning defense attorney Darren Kavinoky present their respective sides of a famous case, putting the accused center-stage and leaving the viewer to decide: did he do it? Stories are interwoven with commentary from Nicolazzi and Kavinoky, as well as from law enforcement and friends and family of the victims.
