While it's not without its missteps - looking at you, clipshow episode - the season still manages to deliver enough punch to satisfy die-hard fans of Marvel's first family. Highlights include thrilling battles between the Hulk and the Thing, unforgettable showdowns with Doctor Doom and Galactus, and the introduction of Frankie Raye as the fiery new herald. However, the forced introduction of the Inhumans and a lackluster clipshow episode detract from the overall enjoyment. Despite these flaws, Season 2 provides plenty of thrills and nostalgia for fans, proving that even when it stumbles, the Fantastic Four always find a way to save the day in style."
