Each episode of this true-crime series examines one case from start to finish, creating a voice for the victim, from whose point of view the story is told. Interviews with witnesses, prosecutors, law enforcement and loved ones combine with dramatizations shot at locations that are important in the cases to form complete pictures of some of the country's most shocking murders. A haunting soundtrack of indie artists sets the tone, while viewers get a peek at the wickedness of perpetrators and the destruction they've left in their wake.
