Looks are deceiving when monsters come to life. In "Frankenfood" -- Spike TV's inaugural food series -- amateur chefs vie to create culinary concoctions that look so bad, they must be good. Chef Josh Capon and restaurateur Tony Luke Jr. eat their way across the country to find revolutionary creations that mix outrageous ingredients in flavorful ways. In each city the co-hosts visit, the food innovators responsible for the "monster mashes" -- anyone want to try a triple-decker pastrami donut sandwich or a fried PB & J fish stick? -- compete for $10,000 and to get their concoction onto the menu of a popular restaurant. A rotating panel of culinary professionals helps Capon and Luke Jr. determine each episode's champion.
