Unbalanced storytelling and unnecessary, excessive brutality add up to disturbing viewing, although "Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken" still includes enough plot revelations to offer hope for future episodes.
It's angering and confusing why the series has chosen to add yet another rape of a major character into the show that does not exist in the books.
Snatches of other plots were mostly just distractions from the horror and raw emotion of the episode's final act.
