In this series, she returns to the land of her birth for an extended stay, spending time with friends and family and revisiting flavors that have inspired her life's work. She hopes the ingredients and beauty of Italy help give her inspiration for her recipes. Whether she's going through her grandmother's old recipe book with her aunt or cooking for her uncle's soccer team, her family heritage is the focus of Giada's dishes throughout her stay in Italy.
