On another level though – say, the level of successful television – Wizards of Baking is a conceptual brainfart. Go to Full Review

With a 90-minute run time, the energy is kept up nicely without the experience becoming too chaotic or stressful. There is enough room to breathe and appreciate the magnitude of the tasks the pairs have set themselves. Go to Full Review

The premise of this cooking competition show seems like a slam-dunk for Potter and baking obsessed muggles, but it falls flat on its execution. Go to Full Review

This is not a surprise considering the brand, but Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking just doesn't take the same kinds of risks that Food Network's own Last Bite Hotel did. Despite being on a much smaller scale, that show was a far more creative competition. Go to Full Review

D3Z 1 @RT51637195 1d The first season of Harry Potter's baking contest does certainly showcase creativity in a similar fashion to Bake Off: The Professionals, even though some of the results do not meet satisfaction. See more Remy M @RT07875792 Dec 3 I was completely taken by the show until the ending. I completely agree with the other reviewer about the winning team. The fact they brought them back for season 2 makes the final judgement sting even more. See more Johann D. M @Johann33 12/30/2024 FUN AND DELIGHTFUL!!! This show, hosted by Food Network, features teams of professional pastry chefs and Harry Potter fans as they create magical dishes inspired by iconic subjects from the series on the actual sets where the films were made. Having the Phelps twins as hosts is a stroke of genius—they’re effortlessly charismatic and bring a joyful energy to every episode. Special guests like Warwick Davis add to the charm, with his witty and amusing remarks standing out. The bakers’ talents are nothing short of extraordinary, and their creations—gigantic, spellbinding showpieces—are a visual feast for fans. Saying goodbye to favorite contestants is tough, but the artistry on display makes it all worthwhile. If only we could taste all of it! And let’s give a big cheer for Colombian finalist Juan Gutierrez, who made us proud! If only we could taste these magical delights ourselves! See more Books, Bunny & Me T @RT60401086 12/28/2024 Please give me another 10 seaaons of this. The presenters kept the show going at a steady pace and the positive energy everyone brought felt very contagious. A well executed show. See more Gabriel S @RT07018028 12/24/2024 I thought the show went really well, I appreciated the creativity, but the ending ruined it all for me, the winners used the same idea 3 different times in 3 different stages of the competition and it annoyed me to no end See more Jessica B @RT84014420 11/18/2024 Absolutely love it!! The contestants creative minds, along with the whole Harry Potter concept is a magical combination. See more Read all reviews
