There were some cool moments, great cast dynamic, phenomenal casting and fun holiday humor, but overall it had no sense of identity, poor character development, the story was unfocused, and full of wasted interactions and inconsistencies.

It's a silly show with awesome actors and clever writing! It is certified fun. It's not like other Marvel TV shows that have a darker tone to them. Although this one is debatably deep, at least way deeper than it seems at first, it never leaves you feeling heavy. Clint and Kate's dynamic is awesome and adorable, Hailee and Jeremy have amazing chemistry in set, which is ideal, since they both are the name of the show. I like how Clint's trauma is handled, not to mention his deafness. Of course, it's not perfect, but it does make you sympathize with the character. I watch it from time to time and always end wanting more. Definitely a proper introduction to Katie :)

Hawkeye has been my favorite hero ever since I watched The Avengers. I know it sounds weird, but bows and arrows are just cool. Clint doesn’t have powers—he relies on skill, and that’s what made me like him. When I heard Marvel was making a Hawkeye series, I was excited but worried they might replace Clint. Thankfully, the show proved me wrong. It gave Clint more depth and showed his struggles, while also introducing Kate Bishop in a way that felt natural. Kate doesn’t feel forced at all. She earns the Hawkeye name, and if Clint ever retires, she deserves to take over. Their dynamic was one of the best parts of the show. The series is a bit slow-paced, but I enjoyed every episode because of the character moments. I’m really hoping for a season two, and I want to see Clint and Kate again in Avengers: Secret Wars. Clint probably shouldn’t be in Avengers: Doomsday—the Avengers are likely losing that one. Save him for Secret Wars.
