Dr. Bill Hoffman leads a gaggle of eccentric folks in group therapy -- but as it turns out, he might be the craziest and most self-obsessed of them all. His patients don't know it, considering Dr. Bill hides behind a celebrity image carefully crafted by the best-selling self-help books he's written. Dr. Bill's situation isn't helped by his 20-something daughter, who is dating another therapist who is around his age. Members of the group take Dr. Bill's advice to heart, until they begin to realize he needs the therapy more than they do.

Ted Danson's charming, but uneven, performance and scattershot laughs bring down Help Me Help You.

"Help Me Help You" is one of those TV oddities that don't qualify as anything. It's not terribly written, but it isn't funny. Neither is it tragic, nor deep, so you can't call it a drama, or a dramedy. Go to Full Review

Cutting edge, this isn't... But part of what makes Help Me Help You accessible is its familiarity. This therapy group is winning, too, in a wonderfully wacky way. Go to Full Review

[Ted] Danson throws himself into the role with good humor, but Help Me Help You yields little good humor. Go to Full Review

Ted Danson plays a psychotherapist with a lot of problems. Yawn - to Danson and the pilot. Go to Full Review

Ted Danson again demonstrates why he is one of TV's most dependable comedic players. He's supported by an array of well-played off-the-wall characters, who create an amusing pilot. Go to Full Review

It's pleasant enough-and thankfully it's not zany. Go to Full Review
