Jack Thorne is really jumping into all kinds of world building in fifth episode "The Lost Boy," and some of it really works-hello, Serafina Pekkala!-and some of it doesn't quite click yet.
This episode delivered just what I've been looking for, and is the best of the season thus far.
No adaptation's going to be a 1-to-1 perfect replica of the original. But here the existing fault lines have split wide open.
