Friends since childhood, Rusty Johnson and Stephan Jablonski risk their relationship to pursue opening a world-class resort in the middle of the Peruvian Amazon. Over the course of six one-hour episodes, they struggle to adapt to a wilderness filled with relentless downpours, thieving monkeys, limited essential supplies and more than just a few peculiar locals. The hotel is the brainchild of Johnson -- a wildlife lecturer and humanitarian -- while the financier is Jablonski, a New York firefighter and "Wheel of Fortune" winner who invests his game show earnings in his friend's dream.
