See more Eli D @RT73558872 1d Personally i found the season to be mid compared to others. maybe its because i just love the other seasons that much and set this season on a pedestal. i dont know i just found the animation bad and like the storyline just was weak, it was just like repeating previous themes and the time there was like some plot-twist or change in theme i found it to worsen the show, and it wouldve been better without it. Also the amount of naked and sex scenes was just over the top, its like they really wanted to do that fanservice. summed up : its okay, mid, i suggest you watch the other seasons and i hope S5 will be better See more Conrad C @sosopoptart 3d The story remains the core of Invincible, and it is worth watching. The season has a good feel, neither rushed nor slow. We get a lot of events the show has been building up to in this season, but you get no feeling that things are wrapping up. There are just a few plotlines I personally cannot get behind, especially in the later half of the season. The gore at a certain point starts to feel over the top, and you begin to wonder why all these superman types don't think to bring something pointy to battle. The animation remains the weak spot, which I can only assume has to be due to time and budget constraints. But still, there's a lot of better looking shows out there. But not a lot of more original ones. I know most people would go with season 1, but 4 was special man. I might be biased because Omni man is my favorite character. Starting with episode 1, we get some great interactions with Mark and Eve’s dad. Plus, we go through the internal struggle Mark deals with (to kill or not to kill). For episode 2, we see the brainwashing Omni man goes through and him finally buying in to the anti viltrumite cause. Now here is the negative: episodes 3 and 4 are fairly mid and I believe if these were good episodes and we got slightly better animation, we could be looking at a high 9 rating. With that being said I actually don’t hate these episodes like other people, I enjoy some meaningful filler episodes, whereas other people only care about the viltrumite war. Episode 5 was insane and might have been the most adrenaline I’ve gotten from watching invincible since season 1 (Omni mans battles). 6-8 peak too. See more Read all reviews
