James May, one of the hosts of the U.K. version of "Top Gear," tries to get the modern man in gear by reteaching traditional skills before they are lost forever. You know, such skills as changing a tire, mixing concrete for a kitchen top, or building a model railway ... or even serenading a potential date. May gets down to business in the Man Lab, an industrial space where he and his team perfect their skills through a series of challenges. Each episode also features a celebrity attempting a practical test of his manliness.
