Actress Joanna Lumley goes on the trip of a lifetime -- exploring the River Nile, from sea to source. Lumley follows the Nile through Egypt, makes her way across the remote deserts of northern Sudan to Khartoum, the capital of Sudan, and ends her journey in Uganda, where she follows the White Nile up to the famed Murchison Falls. All told she experiences five different countries, crosses some of the most-unforgiving landscapes in the world, and meets the people who live and work along this famous river today.
