Go T @RT99501886 11/30/2023 This is an enjoyable show. When I was a kid, I lived in Spain for a year (early 1980s). So the program may appeal to me more than most. But José is a likeable goofball and it's amusing to watch his daughters interact with him. The shows get funnier when the youngest daughter joins. She is a picky eater with a cheese phobia. It's clear this isn't easy for her, or her food-obsessed father, to handle. 4 stars. See more dave b @RT51811019 01/04/2023 Light and fluffy. Good travel and food porn. I hope the Spanish Tourism Board paid José a ton of money. See more aj g @Acutulus 01/03/2023 Move over Anthony Bourdain (apologies). Jose Andres is a very entertaining character. His daughters are attractive and joyful as well. They're very good hosts for a culinary tour of possibly the best cuisine in the world. Or at least that is your impression after seeing the diversity, breadth, and depth of the foods offered just around the east and south of Spain. The freshness and authenticity of the meals make you hungry as you watch all while being presented in a historic context. Spain clearly has a great, if not the best, combination of culture & cuisine. I suspect he may have just created a new industry, culinary tours of Spain. I hope this series repeats next year with a tour of the north & west of Spain. Excellent show. See more Read all reviews
