Feb 02, 2018I absolutely loved Kantaro. It's an absurd mix of excellent foodie material, extremely precise narration, japanese quirks, Tokyo roundabouts, comedy gold and some of the trippier scenes I've seen in a while. The acting is also very entertaining, the main actor is a well reputed kabuki personality (kabuki is a traditional type of theater in Japan very noisy and exaggerated) and that shows in is hilarious tête à tête with sweets. Highly recommended.
