Overall my only complaint if any was the amount of episodes and chefs I feel this season would’ve have a better pace had it had 2 or 3 more episodes and 10 or 11 Competitors instead of the 8 they started with since the season feels like it’s over well before it’s started. The premise is interesting and it’s really interesting to see how well the chefs choose their initial ingredients. Again it’s just the host. He’s bad. His act is so contrived and annoying that it appears even Michael Simon is wincing inside and reminding himself that he's getting paid to suffer through it.
