The writers made a number of changes that would effect the remainder of the series for the worst. The reintroduction of Garmadon, change in character design, and recasting of certain voice actors ruins the series. The reintroduction of Garmadon as a villain defeats his entire character arc throughout the series and it is only done to serve as a plot device and to bring in new fans through the Ninjago movie which is entirely unrelated. The change in voice actors and character designs are also a choice made to appease fans of the Ninjago movie but does not fit the show.
