Bo is a small-town girl on the run after a disastrous sexual encounter with her boyfriend ends with his death. Bo learns that she is not human, but a succubus, who feeds on the sexual energy of humans. She and her kind are members of the Fae, creatures of legend, who walk among humans and feed off them in different ways. As she searches for the truth about her origins and runs from her inhuman urges, she vows to help those she meets along the way -- human or Fae -- who need to right a wrong.

It's every misogynistic, male-gaze hyper-sexualized cliche, supposedly made okay by making the Fae prison guards Amazons. Go to Full Review

It would probably have ended up as merely average if it weren't for two things: the cinematography, which is beautiful - full of lush greens and sunlight flares, very unusual for Lost Girl ; and Anna Silk's performance in her final monologue. Go to Full Review

I bought Bo's turn to the criminal side, well, at least at first. Once she got to the Dal, everyone seemed to be overplaying their role to a point that it looked like a set up. Phew, what a relief to know it was an act. Go to Full Review

02/01/2016 This season didn't start as strong compared to the previous seasons but new characters will immerse that are quite interesting. Bo needs to undergo The Dawning which all faes experience. New Ash will be introduced. The relationship of Bo with Lauren will be tested too in season three. More secrets will be revealed that will pique your interest. But as for the ending, the usual open-ended type but not as intense.
