Nothing will ever be better than the original Sons of Anarchy but Mayans MC provides an entertaining second place. It was great to step back into the SOA universe. It looks and feels much the same and was great to see things from the Mayans perspective. Also really like that we were able to learn more about Alvarez as he was an awesome character and loved the cameos of some of the old characters. Was a nice touch. See more Paul o Jul 5 Will someone please tell producers that women (or men for that matter) cursing every chance they get and then some (including mothers doing so while holding their infant sons in their arms) is not a sign of verbal superiority but of rudeness and vulgarity. As far as the show SOA this is not unless you choose to accept that a single female and her group of children are wiping out one of Mexicos largest most dangerous and most violent drug cartels as this storyline would have us believe. Have a feeling whoever the writer/s who came up with that idea are probably not in great demand these days. lol See more Isaac D May 25 Season 1 & 2 are great. After that it starts tailing off. What ever changed between season 2 & season 3 really killed the show. See more Jason B Feb 19 One thing people need to understand here, is that this isn't supposed to live off SOA's good reputation and style. Mayans M.C. is it's own success. The only reason I say this, is so that people don't expect an SOA 'sequel' so to speak. Mayans MC takes a more serious approach. Which I think it does very well. That's not to say that it doesn't have exciting fun bits now and then when there needs to be one. Just to break it up a bit. Following EZ's journey right from the off, is exciting. Almost as if you're with him on the journey. There's various twists and turns along the line as expected. And there may have been times where there could have been less talky-talky and more action, but it still definitely deserves my high recommendation to give it a go. For the drama fans, you will keep watching and watching. And then do more watching. Mayans MC is a 'Love or Hate' situation. You will either be addicted, or will never see it again. In my eyes, I'm in awe. Plus, a few of our favourite characters from SOA do make some appearances which is ooooh, so cool.
