It’s strange to say the show has matured, but having watched the full first season and the first two episodes of Season 2, there’s truth to it; simply in how clear-eyed the show is about its characters and its intentions. Go to Full Review

The teen kings of dumb logic are back for another season in the format that made them famous, and as Beavis and Butt-Head-y as you’ve always known, understood, and wanted them to be. Go to Full Review

Allan R @RT73701659 10/21/2023 So good. Even better than the first season. I wish they were half an hour episodes. They just feel too short. I could watch these for hours they are that funny. See more Kim T @Kimchi871 10/03/2023 Definitely worth a watch and like how they go between beavis and butthead as adults and in the present. See more Andrew K @RT40967692 09/11/2023 This is actually better than the original. When the original show debuted, its main lure was just that it was a vulgar cartoon for teenagers. That had never really been done before. Cartoons had always been aimed at young children and this was 4 years before South Park. Understanding that the main audience for this revival is likely the original audience, who are now adults, the writing on this show is much better and actually effective satire. They also cover a lot more ground and have a lot more things to explore. They show the teenage Beavis & Butt-head we know, but with (again) better and more effective writing. Then we also get to see Beavis and Butt-head at the age they should be by now (mid to late 40s), and even an alternate (supposedly smart) version of them that essentially look like aliens. The show is just a lot more well done and interesting. See more Roscoe @RT56503389 07/07/2023 I didn't watch but maybe a few episodes of Beavis and Butt-Head growing up. However I was only 7 in 1993 when the show first aired so I wasn't exactly the target audience. I do remember seeing B&B do America somewhere around middle school age and liking it. When I saw Paramount had the new B&B do the Universe I turned it on expecting it to be pretty dumb. (Well, it kind of is, but in a funny way that works). That led me to the new season. I found it funny enough that it was becoming a highlight of my Thursdays when the new episodes aired. Once I was caught up I turned on the episodes of the 1993 originals. I discovered a hidden gem that I had missed as a kid. The new seasons aren't just a cheap nostalgia grab like so many reboots are of shows from 20 or 30 years ago. It holds it's own wether or not you watched the original. I like how today they don't just give commentary only on music videos but include internet videos as well. I think it's a good way to stay true to the original format while bringing it in to the 2020's. I am really hoping the get the green to make a season 3. See more Stuart R @PRAGMATICADDICT 07/01/2023 The previous season felt more Beavis and Butt-Head-ish, but this season feels more mature in a story-driven and canon way. 🍅 See more Jeremy B @RT59151937 06/29/2023 the old school slapstick humor and crude jokes arent as effective as they once were but if you never evolved with comedy and havent changed since you reached adulthood this may bring you back to your glory days.
