Alain E @AlainE Mar 10 The cinematography continues to be first class. The story again has complications and twists to the nth degree. The first female US President is visiting Sweden in an official capacity when she suddenly disappears. The male detective and his psychologist paramour we met in the first season are assigned the case (naturally). Still watchable. See more 04/20/2018 The idea is good but all English speaking actors are speakjng very slowly and theatrically. And towards the final episodes suspense only comes from the stupidity of the main characters a la "I will leave my phone at home", "when being in a dangerous place I will first get a blanket from my car", "when I finally hear my wife is safe in a dangerous place I will not ask who else is there or even what happened". Very disappointing Season 2. No need for a third season. The actors are good but the plot and directing spoils what could have been so much better. See more 03/04/2018 All the promise has taken a nosedive off a cliff which is a shame as the 1st season did have some promise. Melinda Kinnaman's acting has gotten worse and her character is less believable than the 1st season and her acts of stupidity knows no bounds as does the script. There are some good performances from some of the Swedish cast but even the imported actors probably can't wait to get back home after this poor show of a story. See more 02/22/2018 Too slow. Achingly predictable The American/British actors spoil it. Almost gave up half way through episode 1 but gave it the benefit of doubt. Episode 2 even slower with a tortuous segment with a rogue secret agent which concludes with no surprises. Critics describing this as well paced must be on Xanax. Shame because series 1 was fab.
