The first season of the series was quite interesting to watch. I was fond of al the action that played a big part in this season. It was anything but dull or boring. You immediately got the chance to get to know all the characters in the first episode which makes it easier to follow the direction of the storyline. The cliffhanger at the end of most episodes were very entertaining. You can see multiple perspectives throughout the series, you can see it from the police's point of view, the criminals in the bank's and of the professor who leads the heist. The ideas of the professor are unpredictable. I don't particularly like certain relationships because they didn't have an exciting build up, it was rather ordinary. I couldn't stop watching because of the thrilling moments. Over al it was a good first season with a shocking seasons final. I would recommend it to friends and family.

This review is for the whole run of the show. We watched it dubbed in English & just took a little bit to get into the characters & the pace of the show. Highly enjoyable and a real plot twister throughout all the seasons. A fantastic bingeable streamathon to be sure.

Money heist season 1 actually shocked me on how good it was. The show was thrilling and exciting and kept me hooked the whole time

Having seen the first two seasons, I would say that the premise behind the story is clever and told in a very clever way, with flashbacks that reveal the background bit by bit. It is a gripping story, and extremely well done, with a very strong cast. The only problem is that on reflection there a number of holes in the plot, as such a caper would not be possible in the real world. Also, the basic premise of running with (literally) a truckload of cash as newly printed banknotes fails the reality test in various ways, not least the increasing use of credit cards and electronic payments, and cash is much less use. Try paying for a high ticket item in cash these days. I scanned the plot summary for seasons 3, 4 and 5, and I see the same problems there. Nonetheless, gripping viewing that you cannot stop once you start.

This first season is one of the greatest things I had seen at the time and if the series would have ended here it would have been perfect in every way for me. Even with some too obvious political correctness, it fitted the vibe and message of the series.

Despite watching it dubbed, the show was phenomenal. The acting was well done, with each character being believable, moving in some way, and cast well. The visuals and cinematography gave the feel of a high-budget movie and the cinematography was excellent. However, the real draw here is the storytelling. Each episode left me feeling like it was going to be the last, with the suspense building even during character development and purely narrative scenes. Flashbacks, while a faux pax generally, were expertly interspaced throughout the show at moments where they fit but didn't burden the plot with irrelevance to the main storyline.

haha so sick! love this show so much

I'm truly amazed by this series. Amazed by its stupidity. Here crooks are noble, super smart, super cool, lovable people; while government and police are stupid, super incompetent, uncool af and they the villains of this story. Most of the characters are very annoying. Bad writing tries to hide behind constantan flashbacks. Difficult to understand popularity of this series, but we live in 20s of the 21st century - stupidity is what is popular.

Highly overrated - the story is overblown, long winded and ridiculous - by episode 9, we were just wanting it to be over. Also makes police look like idiots
