Watching the series, you appreciate different forms of affection, from the kind of devotion that comes from continual attention to specific needs, to the closeness of waking up in the morning to the surprise kisses in front of a celebratory crowd. See more 04/13/2021 I was looking forward to this show for a while and I'm sorely disappointed that out of all the couples, the only example of a person of color they displayed had a "tumultuous" relationship at best- the cheating and returning home with random pregnancies and lack of clarity was just in shockingly bad taste compared to the glowing stories of the other couples' meeting, endurance and successes. It saddened me because there are so many beautiful healthy long relationships I've seen in the BIPOC community - I just returned from Peru, am now headed to Africa.
