This popular drama about one woman's rise to the top of a Mexican drug cartel doesn't skimp on the violence, but it retains a little of its telenovella heritage in its glossy, melodramatic sheen. Go to Full Review

Epically watchable... The final season is extremely well done, delivering our characters to their destinations in ways both satisfying and surprising. Go to Full Review

Fitt X @RT65834390 Jul 4 It was mesmerizing!!! The series finale , was a spellbinder. LOVED it. Acting is superb. See more theFloydianDevice T @RT70553388 02/28/2025 I like the premise and watched the whole series. I thought it was well done in many respects, but I would have liked to seen a wider variety of story lines. By the third season, I could predict almost every episode. There will be a big deal about to go through with a new supplier. There's a problem with the shipment.. (It usually gets hijacked). It looks like all is lost. But Theresa has a plan. Everyone thinks it won't work, but she says: "No, it has to be this way!" And it works out until the next episode when there's a new problem with a new shipment. Also seemed like all the main crew was getting shot at with automatic weapons from close range almost every episode; but usually only got nicked a little bit and ready for more action next episode. Worth watching the whole series just for the few episodes with Steven Bauer. His presence brought it up to 5 stars! See more Slick R @SlickReviewer 08/21/2024 Just finished all 5 seasons. What an awesome show. Yes the end was predictable but it was still good. Wish they didn't end the series but I could see how they were running out of stories to write. Now I gotta find a new show to binge. See more Mike G @RT88618180 01/23/2024 All seasons have great stories lines..first one takes a while to get into the build up but worth it See more joseph o @JoeJoe6521 10/10/2022 Just finished streaming all five seasons over a two week period, so this review is for all five season of Queen of the South. For a 'narco' show, Queen of the South was average, with good performances for the most part across the board. But the editing, and writing was subpar. Characters came and went with no real purpose, and there were times that I thought I had missed something because the episodes didn't quite fit. But the biggest issue I had with the show, was the way in which the drug trade was portrayed - glamourizing it, and making it seem as though it was an everyday kind of job, and that the killing was so matter-of-fact. Also, the portrayal of almost all of the cops, government agencies, and governmental officials as either corrupt or stupid was not a good look for the show. Having the main culprits (killers) all happy, and living their best life at the end of season five, I guess, somehow made all of the killing, torturing, etc. just go away. Why do writers/producers glorify the drug trade, and it's lifestyle? See more 06/24/2022 This was my favorite season. I wish there would be a season 6. See more Read all reviews
