Once described as the "Irish Cooking Queen," Rachel Allen takes viewers on a tour through the world of modern baking from the kitchen of the prestigious Ballymaloe Cookery School in Cork, Ireland, where Allen studied as a teenager and now works as a teacher. Rachel also sets out in search of chocolatiers, master bread-makers, pie-makers and cake specialists, to learn about their crafts.
