If you’re not a skater, you may enjoy the series. For those who are experienced skaters, you may find it lackluster. See more Glo T @RT28929253 11/03/2024 Roller Jam is a great way to promote a roller skating competitive group show and various style of skating: artistic,beach, session regional styles, rhythm and blues, hip hop, etc.cacrissvtge USA I have taken artistic skating lessons blended my style with jazz and hip hop and done performances. Many other companies have tried to have a roller skating show nationwide but did not have funding or sponsorship. You will not see artistic lifts, , traveling camels,axles, cartwheels, splits, drops, sit spins,etc at a regular skate session because you need to clear the area for these movements to be performed at a rink or facility I applaud the producers and the skate choreographers for inspiring the move to get roller skating into the Olympics. The level of roller skating does nothing to encourage the viewers to go out and skate or take their children to learn skating. The judges were being nice to the skate groups. Most of the skate groups were not doing anything more than what I have seen children/adolescents do in my local skating rink. A flip here and there, out of sync, most of the costumes added nothing to the routine.
