Cast & Crew
It also made excellent use of Page's musical abilities and Bad Bunny's decent comic chops, the end result a lively, enjoyable episode.
Page, who was in every sketch but the cold open and Update, was the sort of unexpected pick that paid off in professionalism, stage awareness, and simple ease of talent.
I am very pleasantly surprised! Page was game, incredible energy especially early on. And Fineman and Nwodim's prominent roles suggest the show's future is here.
Best known as the brooding Duke of Hastings, but he's not such a known quantity that writers are hemmed in by an established celebrity persona. Consequently, there's plenty of room for play - not just for him, but for the cast and even... Bad Bunny, too
Where were these great skits when Regina King was around, huh, SNL? You were saving all your good material for the guy from Bridgerton instead of the greatest actress of her generation? Cool, cool, cool.
Now that I've seen this guy hosting SNL, I'm convinced that he's going to be a big star. Page took the reins of a lively and extremely musical Saturday Night Live where even the average sketches could have easily been among the best.
Without a doubt, Pete Davidson stole the show. Whether he was on air as the governor or as himself, Davidson brought fun energy to so many sketches.
