If there are two things chefs Bobby and Jamie Deen know about, they are the South and food. So the Georgia natives combine their knowledge of the two subjects in this series that takes them throughout the region to showcase some of their favorite regional dishes and highlight some of the adventures that can be experienced there. The brothers' journey has them exploring the culinary scene and local attractions in the area, often reliving some of their favorite childhood memories along the way. Stops on the Deen road trip include West Virginia, where they go whitewater rafting before enjoying grilled ribs and haddock sandwiches, and Alabama, where they taste such delicacies as a deep-fried burger, a fried bologna sandwich and tomato pie with pickles.
