Selection for the Special Forces is a test unlike any other. Celebrities from all genres take on -- and try to survive -- demanding training exercises led by directing staff agents, an elite team of ex-Special Forces operatives. In this unique series, the only way for these recruits to leave is to give up on their own accord, through failure or potential injury, or by force from the agents. Viewers see the recruits face the harshest of environments that simulate the highly classified selection process, pushing themselves in the ultimate test of their physical, mental and emotional resilience and revealing the celebrities' deepest and truest character.

NASHVILLE I @Nshvlleindie 02/13/2025 As someone who hates Survivor and every other generic reality fitness show, I have to say Special Forces is a GREAT show! Why? Because the Staff are 100% authentic and unrelenting, but at the same time they have interesting personalities that shine through. They're seriously dedicated to the brutal nature of the training, but they're not screaming screaming screaming not some cliche. Not to mention, NO CELEBRITY gets excessive screen time, so nobody's put on a pedestal and allowed to steal the spotlight or anything. Absolutely great. Having that been said, it's waaay obvious the most entitled reality brats rushed to join S2 and cash in, after S1 was such a success. Jojo siwa, blac chyna, and Dez Bryant are the biggest spoiled crybabies who deserve every bit of rude awakening they get. See more Jennifer Tehani S 01/22/2025 Such a great show about resilience, team work and the discipline to survive. I don’t know who the consultants were on this show, but they did an amazing job. Wow. I’ve only seen season two so far, but it’s tough to stop watching - you never want to hit pause. People being pushed to their limits and push through anyway is a beautiful thing. There is a silliness about seeing these reality stars and celebrities go through this stuff… being plopped into this situation by choice and having sometimes trivial discussions as if it were life and death (then again I’m biased and came up before the internet and social media were a thing). I would have preferred to watch non-celebrities go through this challenge, but it was entertaining and inspiring due to the design and intention of the show. I think it would be great no matter who is on it because the professionals on the show are so stellar. I’m surprised there aren’t more reviews of this online. It’s really, really good.
