It's never easy to confront monsters, and Episode 7 drives that home with the return of a classic villain, the backstory of our new one, a suspicion of another, and two of our heroes choosing a monstrous path.

To create a great villain, you must create a level of sympathy between the villain and the audience. This was the episode that completed that bond . . . it’s nearly impossible to not have sympathy – or at least empathy – for Vadic’s situation.
