When four pet turtles were bathed in ooze, they began to mutate and became the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Raised in New York City sewers by their foster father and martial-arts Master Splinter, Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello and Raphael wage war against crime. They stop evildoers in all forms, whether barbaric gangs, lowlife crooks, deranged cyborgs, or even the crime syndicate The Foot, led by their archrival, The Shredder.

Mihailo M @RT08634381 05/23/2024 Great Great great Great great Great great Great great Great great Great great Great great. See more Michele I @RT57629328 06/01/2023 Fast Forward.... what to say about this season.... the series was going too dark for the network, so they did what one actor called "Jumping the shark", and did Fast Forward. They changed everything about the series they could... besides the voices. We got new character designs, new New York City, new bad guys, new good guys, and even what felt like a wash over of the character's personalities. All the growth we saw in seasons 1 to 4, that picked up in the lost season... was pushed to the side to add more comedy than action... and you get Fast Forward. The first half of the season was the characters trying to reintroduce themselves, the plot trying to figure out what it is now, and getting to know the new characters. All of which came upon the fans of the first four seasons like a big slap in the face as many loved the feel of the show before hand. It hurt, to see Mikey get dumbed down, it was depressing to see the Turtles so goofy... when these were originally more like the old comic book Turtles. Something was off, something big was off... and you really felt it at the beginning. The second half of the series came, and they were starting to find themselves again. What we liked about the first four seasons were starting to slip in. There was character growth coming for some of the villains, personally I liked the Dark Turtles, and plot was starting to make more sense. But the damage of angry fans hit before their next season could fully get their feet on the ground... things like Space Usagi was cancelled and we got Back to the Sewers as the network was trying to please the fans that were not happy about the changes, only to give us more changes... I gave my review on Back to the Sewers already in that season. This part of TMNT history has it's highlights, but it was not easy to find them at first. Only because the series already gave itself such a strong foundation in the first four seasons of the series. 4Kids had something really awesome. Sadly they went for a change and this was the start of the end of that show. See more 01/03/2021 As much as I love this series, the Fast Forward season took a major hit on animation & plot enjoyability. Great for kids, a bit of an ordeal at times for adults See more Read all reviews
