The Shannon family travels back to Earth's prehistoric past to start a new civilization as the planet is dying in 2149 in the only season of the sci-fi drama "Terra Nova." Elisabeth Shannon (Shelley Conn) was chosen for this because of her medical background, while her husband Jim (Jason O'Mara) escaped imprisonment to join the family in the developing colony.
