Many people across the world felt a loss in February 2012 when popular singer Whitney Houston died in a Beverly Hills hotel. But her family, of course, was hardest hit by her death. This docuseries follows members of Houston's family -- including daughter Bobbi "Krissy" Kristina, brother Gary, mother Cissy and family friend Nick Gordon as they try to pick up the pieces following the Grammy-winning singer's demise. Cameras capture the family members as they come together to deal with their loss. Whitney's sister-in-law, Pat Houston, who is executor of the estate, tries to keep the family together as they help 19-year-old Krissy deal with her mother's death and grow into a talented young woman.
