Come on in, it says warmly with every gorgeous shot of island coastline, the water’s lovely. Go to Full Review

The series is the definition of “picky bits” (apologies, heinous phrase) — tasty and occasionally piquant, but not heavy on serious nutrition. Go to Full Review

Just a good, old-fashioned character drama that’s an easy and escapist watch. It’s not trying to do too much. Go to Full Review

I like the cast and how they interact with each other, but a series like this doesn’t need a whole lot of edginess to be entertaining. Go to Full Review

Tracy R @RT08944255 12h I loved this show. I had to watch the whole season. Can't wait to see the next season. See more Shelley S @RT79546408 15h I wanted to love this movie so much and I expected to love it. I love Jennifer Garner. But oh my gosh, the angst in every scene for every character was exhausting. And too many stereotypical issues. Everybody has a secret. Rebellious teenage daughter who hates her mother and the mother just wants her daughter to love her. The DEI requirement in order to qualify for an award cast, which was ironic when in the middle of the movie, Charlie accuses Hollis of having DEI friendships and then is accused of being racist. The long lost boyfriend from the past. One of the characters has ton be gay.I love a good beach read as well as anybody, and probably could’ve handled all of that better if every scene wasn’t so depressing. Other than all of that, I loved it. See more Fulltime T @RT53894153 1d I really wanted to like this show. From the description, it sounded just like something I would enjoy. I like Jennifer Garner but this show was beneath the talents of everyone who was in it. It was just one long bitch session with everyone taking turns saying how rough their privileged, rich lives were. I made it through every episode and there were some truly heartwarming parts. But mostly it was a waste of time. See more Pita S @RT01401919 1d I loved the adaptations made from the novel. Great character development. The series is both emotional and at times, humorous. The scenes from the island and the movie using the actual restaurants, shops and bars, made it so authentic. See more f S @RT33815273 1d This started off interesting but soon became boring. Episode 1 caught our attention, but by the middle of Episode 2 when they are comparing notes about their masturbation strategies, we switched it off. See more Megan P. @Phillmeg84 3d I couldn’t get past the gratuitous opulence of a privileged white woman being sad in a multi-million dollar mansion on the beach. See more Read all reviews
