Over 40 feet high and just a little bit shy, the Great Grape Ape, a King Kong-sized purple gorilla, travels around the countryside in a cartoon that first premiered in 1975. Along with his sidekick friend, Beegle Beagle, who is a wisecracking canine, the Great Grape Ape journeys in a yellow van and faces a series of adventures while trying to earn money and supplies. Startling all those he meets with his massive size, the kindhearted ape takes care of the local bad guys in this Saturday morning cult classic.
