There is an interesting story but it needs to be edited down dramatically to be a recommendation. If you are patient then it does get better in the second episode. Together it's a mish-mash that's barely watchable. See more Basil @RT69427173 10/30/2023 *SPOILERS* Although this is an entertaining and relatively short series, the ending is pretty well infuriating. Russian AKA Woolf conned 30 people into becoming homeless for a non-existent reality show and imaginary prize money while he was a clerk at a bookstore. Like a typical narcissist, Russian/Woolf deflects all blame from himself while taking on a "poor me" attitude that is quite outrageous, honestly expecting the viewer to believe he was the victim in this situation. The worst bit is that the end of the series was extremely charitable and empathetic to this man, who refuses to make amends or even acknowledge that he did a shitty, shitty thing to 30 people. His ex-best friend seems to be the only one capable of articulating what Russian/Woolf did wrong. A few of his victims even thank him, conflating their own efforts to improve their lives with the effects of his con. Yikes!! See more Read all reviews
