This six-part docuseries takes a raw, unfiltered look at a 28-year-old woman living with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), previously known as Multiple Personality Disorder. Jane, a mother of two young boys, graciously allows cameras into her private life, including intense therapy sessions, to record every moment as she continues to investigate mysteries surrounding DID and her childhood trauma that caused it. Diagnosed only three years ago, Jane now has more than nine identities, ranging in age from 6 to 28 years, and they can appear at any time. Her journey includes figuring out how she can best co-exist with her many "parts" as they each emerge to try and make themselves heard.

07/27/2021 This show had great potential but didn't utilize all of it. It does show a more accurate depiction of living with DID, but it didn't go as full-tilt into education about what it was as much as it could have... while also not diving into the "life with it" aspect as much as it could have. While doing both would have been terribly hard, it would have been nice to see some aspect of either of these more the focus for certain episodes. The former particularly early in the series could have segued to more the latter by the end of the season. It also doesn't do a good job of noting not everyone with DID will experience things the same way. Despite the shortcomings, however, the show IS a good honest insight into life with a very much misunderstood, and often entirely misrepresented disorder. It also does good to humanize the struggles of living with it- something sorely needed. See more 03/20/2019 I, as a person w mental illnesses, am not saying her diagnosis is real/valid. She is defintely mentaly challenged ...and im SURE in more ways than ANYONE knows. But anyone ive known w the diagnosis of DID can NOT control when/where their "other parts" "show up". Besides that i wish her well in her journey. And i hope she can say goodbye to some parts, slowly...i wish her amazing boys the best in life...and you as well Jane!!! See more 03/15/2019 Excellent show... canâ??t wait for season 2 to come out. She deals with her illness very well in front of her children and that has to really be hard to do. See more 02/22/2019 I love love love this show. I love how genuine Jane is and how she truly cares for her parts. Beth and Janey are my favorite. I appreciate how transparent she is and that she is bringjng attention to DID and other mental health disorders. Praying a season 2 comes out!! See more 02/09/2019 I was really excited about this series as I struggle with mental health issues myself. Unfortunately this series feels less than genuine and completely scripted. I'm not saying this woman does not have this disorder, but the show makes it seem super fake. I can't even get through a full episode. See more Read all reviews
