A viral phenomenon with more than half a billion fans worldwide and the No. 1 top-trending video of 2017 on YouTube, The Masked Singer features celebrities facing off against one another with one major twist: each singer is shrouded from head to toe in an elaborate costume, complete with full face mask to conceal his or her identity.

Ali D @RT04370393 02/12/2025 Awesome!! I loved this seasons costumes and masks so much See more Cyrus K @Keyflame626 10/02/2022 still pretty entertaining, just not as much as season 2. See more 09/21/2020 Cringey song choices from vocalists who are either underwhelming or auto-tuned, mixed with judges who either make intentionally idiotic guess or already clearly know who the vocalist is beforehand, equals one of the dumbest reality shows to ever exists, joining the ranks of those like the Bachelor and the recently cancelled Kardashians. I've never been a fan of reality shows, but I can say when one is good or not. The Masked Singer is the Emoji Movie of reality shows: lacking creativity or sense, with a target audience of normal people below 9-years-old and super immature people above that age, and annoying music. Also featuring bad dance moves and an unfairly high amount of confetti. As my review has likely shown, I don't like this "show". In fact, I'd just call it a reality "colorful collage of bad ideas and songs". See more 09/12/2020 I obsessively watched the first seasons and while occasionally I disagreed with the audience's decisions I was by and large pleased with the lineup and with the order of unmasking; HOWEVER, season 3 proved itself to be the single worst season of any such performance-based reality show I've ever seen. There was certainly plenty of talent to go around but the audience consistently voted off great singers and performers in order to elevate less worthy and less talented "fun" characters. I won't say any names in case you're planning on watching it, which you definitely shouldn't, but the fact that Ms. Monster (who turned out to be a living legend) was kicked off while a lumbering (and musically talentless hard body) was kept on is mind-boggling. Either get a new audience or stop the show. This pattern continued throughout the entire season. It disgusted me. Fox renewed the show but they should take heed. Perhaps they should change to a live voting format so that others can weigh in. People who are not awed by the spectacle because they are not actually in the live audience. I sat through the whole thing and spent most of the time angry. I kept hoping that it would turn around but it never did. It's just so sad. Genuinely depressing. See more 05/25/2020 Another good season, it just has gotten a little repetitive and not as exciting. The costumes were excellent but not as good as last season and the Nighht Angel was weird looking. I guessed the most celebrities this season, I was able to guess 10. I knew the Astronaut was Hunter Hayes instantly, the second he sang his first note I knew it was him. Overall another good season but not as good as the first two but I do think the winner this season is the best winner so far. See more steven g @RT28517929 05/14/2020 Stupid premise, talent not showcased, panel chosen more as cheerleaders for the show than anything realistic. See more Read all reviews
