Being a celebrity often adds complications and drama to personal relationships, which in some cases makes already-strenuous connections even more fragile. In this series, therapist Debbie Magids helps celebrity mother-daughter pairs with broken relationships. The family pairs air their dirty laundry as Magids guides them to intense therapy sessions and exercises to help them rebuild their relationships. The celebrities being taken under Magids' wings include "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Kim Richards and daughter Kimberly, who feels like she's the adult between them; "The Hills" star Heidi Montag and mother Darlene, who were estranged for more than two years; "Bad Girls Club" personality Natalie Nunn and mother Karen, whose relationship is more tense than ever following the recent death of Natalie's grandmother; and reality star Courtney Stodden and mother Krista, who drops a bombshell regarding her secret relationship with Courtney's older husband.
