John M @RT40348054 04/22/2024 This show is sci-fi drama! See more TJ S @RT98809591 03/17/2023 Having my nephew there as part of NIDS and his conformation as something definitely being there but adding he never experienced anything as spectacular as other Bigelow's members scensationalized accounts but more of what is being showed by this investigating team and more that isn't. Dr Travis S Taylor is a brilliant scientist and very respected he isn't going to take that fall on the sword to his career. I wish the editing wasn't the typical make it fascinating, if you just present it as a televised scientific investigation and as things happen it would be fascinating just in that fact. I wish I could share what my nephew has shared with me but sadly I can't. If weren't for Dr Taylor's involvement and my nephews past there I'm not sure how seriously I would take this show. See more Lana L @RT93546671 10/13/2022 This is one more docudrama in the genre of "Scary UFOs." The full script: UFOs Exist; the government doesn't know what they are; they represent a grave threat to the United States. The narrator asks an important question during the film but does not answer truthfully: "Why can it be told now?" Well, because, in truth, the government is gradually building up to a "We're being attacked by ETs!! We're going to take everything you own to fight the threat!" scenario. The first reports in this area started in the 1960s and 1970s, though according to Native Americans it was always an odd and mystical place--perhaps that's why the military choose it. The '60s and '70s would have been the time at which the Acknowledged and Unacknowledged Secret Access Projects within the National Security State (NSS) were well-established (the Military-Industrial Complex that Eisenhower warned about in his farewell address in 1960). I live in Utah and the area close to the Uintah Mountains would make a perfect testing ground for ultra-sophisticated, highly classified technologies developed in these projects. To follow are the typical lies that are told in this type of documentary: 1 Cattle mutilations are being done by UFOs: These are primarily carried out by special military and intelligence units within the NSS (OSI, CIA) as were the abductions as part of an on-going psychological warfare program meant to terrify the American people with the UFO threat. Lie 2: The military doesn't know what these UFOs are (the real ones): They know. They've known for at least 80 years and they've developed the technology all over the country through corporations in Work-for-Other programs. The so-called Tic Tacs are super-weapons, made at the Skunk Works in Palmdale, California. Skunk Works is the pseudonym for Lockheed Martin's Advanced Development Programs (ADP). Lie 3. UFOs are a threat. If UFOs were a threat they could have exploded this planet into blue and green dust and scattered it to the heavens decades or even centuries ago. These kinds of programs as well as all the UFO invasion movies are nothing more than propaganda campaign to frighten Americans. See more 08/12/2022 This is hilariously bad. If you watch it as a mockumentary, it helps. Not sure if it was scripted, but you have a millionaire showing off his toys, a circle jerk of adult men afraid of actually investigating the property, and asinine commentary of natural occurances. "There's cold air coming out of an underground cave!" Shocking. They found a dead mouse and automatically began assuming it was human bones or cremains. Extraordinarily slow, trying to make something from nothing. Watch only as a comedy. Or just watch Zombeavers instead. See more 08/08/2022 Given the credentials of some of the investigators, I did not think it would come across as "corny" as it did. It seemed as if the investigators were trying to portray themselves as actors and their reactions to some events seemed scripted....as if they had filmed the scene multiple times to get the right reaction to the drama. It just seemed very rehearsed. I think the story is interesting but watching the forced "dramatic" scenes was just hard to take. I won't blame the investigators but those who were "producing" the effort. I do not recommend this to anyone. See more 05/15/2022 the series is horrible, just another crappy oak island they beat to death the same stuff over an over an over every episode they always bring up dudes head injury, they never ever find out anything EEVER same stupid tests, nothing is scientific. they never follow up on anything thr security guys are an absolute joke. it's over dramatic nonsense. typical history Channel See more Read all reviews
