This long-running animated comedy focuses on the eponymous family in the town of Springfield in an unnamed U.S. state. The head of the Simpson family, Homer, is not a typical family man. A nuclear-plant employee, he does his best to lead his family but often finds that they are leading him. The family includes loving, blue-haired matriarch Marge, troublemaking son Bart, overachieving daughter Lisa and baby Maggie. Other Springfield residents include the family's religious neighbor, Ned Flanders, family physician Dr. Hibbert, Moe the bartender and police chief Clancy Wiggum.

Homer has not only been the first yellow cartoon father in space, but has also been mistaken for the missing link. And the jokes are so deliciously unpredictable. Go to Full Review

For a show that's been on as long as this one... it's amazing how well it holds up, and for me, Season 14 is no exception. Go to Full Review

As far as the overall quality of the season, it isn't as consistently good as some earlier seasons but in the evolution of the show and the characters, it's solid. Go to Full Review

Stephen C @bob25009 Jan 3 22 funny episodes, including episode 9. See more TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch Dec 8 Season Fourteen of The Simpsons continues to push the envelope, expanding the show’s universe in bold and imaginative ways. With an emphasis on sci-fi elements, aliens, and outer-space adventures, this season demonstrates the writers’ willingness to explore new territory while maintaining the sharp humor and adult-oriented jokes that fans have come to expect. The storytelling becomes more expansive, moving beyond mere town-based plots to creating a broader universe that feels layered and dynamic. Character dynamics remain strong, with Homer, Marge, Bart, and Lisa continuing to evolve, while secondary characters receive more attention and quirky development. The season balances absurdity with clever social commentary, offering viewers both laughs and thought-provoking moments. Overall, Season Fourteen exemplifies how The Simpsons can reinvent itself while deepening the complexity of its world, crafting a universe that extends far beyond Springfield itself. See more Jeffrey M @RT01695930 11/10/2023 The Simpsons Season 14 was okay. The Simpsons isn't fully bad yet, but it started to spoil about 3 seasons ago. The Simpsons Season 14 had some good episodes like Treehouse of Horror XII, The Great Louse Detective, Moes Baby Blues, and The Strong Arms of Ma. The Simpsons Season 14 had a lot of episodes that weren't great, but my least favorite is called The Bart of War. I didn't like The Bart of War because it was very offensive, more offensive than other episodes that called Native Americans "Indians". I rewatched a classic Simpsons episode ( Cape Fear ), and even thought I personally don't like researching things I loved watching it more than the episodes in this season. I give this season a 66%. See more johnathon w @Hoppynsc 06/24/2022 One of the stronger "Simpsons" seasons, thanks to a few classic episodes, notably the "How I Spent My Strummer Vacation", featuring rock 'n roll stars like Mick Jagger and Lenny Kravitz. Overall, one of the better seasons after its peak a few years ago. See more Read all reviews
