Jelger W @RT09113898 03/18/2025 It's an absolute shame these animated shorts were cut after Season 1. They provide a great animating style, fitting for shorts, and good (mostly book-accurate) storytelling. It's baffling that two more were made for season 1's last two episodes, they were shown at one of the Comic Cons, but never released. It's probably a rights issue, but it's very unfortunate for those involved in making it. These animations are great. See more Armando S @Aliensc86 02/09/2024 I hope they keep making and don't cancel this show. See more Ace S @RT86105857 10/29/2023 I loved the books for this series but i cant get past the first 3 episodes of this show. The wrighters of the show just decided that every character simply didnt have enough trauma going into the show so made a bunch of stuff up. The episodes were extramly rushed giving no story or substance to any of the characters and also failing to introduce major characters, so by the end of the 3rd episode i can honastly say i have no idea whats going on, who these people are or whats suppose to be important or not. This isn't an adaptation of the series, this is what happenes when someone gets a vague description of a few points and then just makes stuff up. Warning: Spoilers ahead! To start with my biggest grievence, why did they throw Egwene off a damn cliff? Not only does it add nothing to the story, but also completly goes against the sleepy village in the middle of nowhere aspect that it was famous for. As for a few more; What happened to bela? Why is Nynaeve portrayed as helpess? Why wasnt Min introduced? Why was an aiel introduced in a cage (a perrin scene later in the story)? Why does Perrin have a wife (this breaks the story later)? What is going on with Mats dad (mat respects his dad and what he has taught him, comes up a lot in the middle of the story)? To put this simply. Not only could this series not be condensed into 8 episode seasons per book (even if they are an hour long each), but it is missing critical character build, world building, scenes and instead has focused on random points that either add nothing to the story or completly break any meaning in later parts of the story.
