Contrary to other opinions I thought this was a great way to go about a documentary for kids to keep them engaged. This helped mine understand that there is a food chain and sometimes your predators have predators. It also installed empathy for the animals as they became relatable.

Everything that I knew about reality and common sense is changed forever after watching this show. The way that this show takes a rat and then puts it through a series of bizarre and weird circumstances that all end up with it being a rat again makes me question more about me than the rat. I don't think this show is about a rat, it's about lockdown and the weird things we all did during lockdown, like filming rats. And then there was the duck episode.

I loved it! I'm very fascinated by wild animals and this had some great examples of small interesting wild animals throughout the US and in our own backyards. Great love action shots of foxes and burrowing owls and snakes and all kinds of good stuff. Well narrated.

    The show is really exciting.

Amazing cinematography, a little overdone in a cute and cheesy kind of way. We enjoyed watching it as a family.

Should not be categorized as a documentary as the content is completely fictionalized and staged. Honestly on the borderline of animal abuse

Nature isn't scripted, this is not a nature documentary. Some kinda real world tiny animals edition.
  • Oct 22, 2020
While presented like a documentary, the content is totally fictionalized and wildly unrealistic. A hamster, in a ball, rolling along an 8" ledge 500 feet in the air? Please.
  • Sep 27, 2020
This is an amazing show, with incredible close-up photography. I wouldn't classify it as an outright documentary. There is a story line behind each episode with animal and human encounters, that is partly staged as a drama. The stories are quite clever, with the animal facing some big challenges if not some danger, but you know they are not really in danger.

This is a not a documentary - this is animal cruelty. Absolutely horrendous. Do not watch
