Why these quaint coastal towns seem to each possess an evil underbelly remains a mystery - but I'm glad that, at least in Whitstable, Pearl Nolan is trying to solve those dilemmas, one case at a time. Go to Full Review

Given the coziness of "Whitstable Pearl," you don't expect the show to be trolling the art world. But you never know what might turn up, either on the menu or alongside an oyster boat. Go to Full Review

...A solid balance of the somber, the suspenseful, and the cozy-mysterious. Go to Full Review

Ultimately, I'm not sure what Whitstable Pearl is going to make of it's big swing... Time will obviously tell. For now, at least, I'm just glad Acorn has continued to make ambition an Originals priority. Go to Full Review

Austin F 12/13/2022 heartfelt show, chemisrty between the characters are believable . See more William S 08/18/2022 It's mysteries where you can root for the characters. Closer to Ms. Fisher than Vera although those are favorites. Also similar to Annika. Generally kind hearted murders. See more Per S 07/17/2021 Entertaining coastal town crime solved by a female ex-cop and a for some reason treansferred police investigator and his assistant. Somewhat old style, where each episode has a new case. Nothing hardcore Sherlock about it, but casual and meant for a wide average audience. In that sense, even Poirot can be more thrilling. Basically good acting from a well picked cast, delivering a reasonable dialogue. For what it's worth, it's watchable and not very special, but far from fabulous. See more 06/11/2021 Excellent! I am loving the humour which is an unexpected bonus. The storylines are great and it's very well acted. Most enjoyable. See more 06/08/2021 Really enjoying this light mystery series. See more 06/07/2021 Three episodes in and they just keep getting better. Looking forward to the upcoming episodes and hope for more seasons. See more Read all reviews
